Systel's IDC2000 Platform

Systel's IDC2000 Platform is a family of ICs based on Systel's Universal Power Management Controller (UPMC) architecture. Key elements included in all IDC2000 ICs are:

1. PIDF and PSG modules (up to 11 channels):
   1. IDC2080: 11 channels
   2. IDC2040: 5 channels
   3. IDC2020: 3 channels
2. Communication Units:
   1. A configurable hardwired Power Line Carrier Module (PLC Module)
   2. A configurable Digital Phase Look Loop Module (DPPL Module)
   3. An RF interface

IDC2000 ICs for Integrated Lighting Systems

When used in an Energy Saving Lighting System, IDC2000 ICs integrate all the functions of high performance non-networkable and networkable single and multi-fixture electronic ballasts into a single chip.

ICs include all of the control and protection functions required by the ballast and lamps as well as an embedded power line carrier modem. IDC2000 ICs can also include: microLan, RS485, I2C, and DC control for wired remote control and local remote control like RF (radio frequency) and IR (infrared). The IDC2000 ICs also provide interfaces for occupancy and lighting sensors, other digital and analog control I/Os. The configuration capability of this lighting controller for example, eliminates the need to tune a ballast circuit to different types of lamps using passive components.
